The “Weme’s Nature World” series is a global project that brings together children from 20 countries who share a common interest: a fascination with the environment. The initiative was launched by the German Prix Jeunesse Foundation (For us no Planet B project) and, in Brazil, is co-produced by the Padre Anchieta Foundation / TV Cultura and Midiativa.

With a total of 12 episodes, the series explores children’s interactions with various global ecosystems, covering countries such as Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Egypt, Finland, Indonesia, Italy, Mongolia, Sweden, Thailand, Uruguay, and many others. The aim is to show how each culture understands, preserves, and relates to the planet.
In each episode, an aspect of nature takes center stage: trees, flowers, fruits, air, seeds, clouds, earth, and even snow. Children explore their surroundings using a special magnifying glass and a tablet, which reveal details invisible to the naked eye, stimulating scientific curiosity. The animated character WeMe appears in the scenes to guide the explorations and make learning more fun and relaxed.
Using playful language and engaging images, “Weme’s Nature World” sparks children’s curiosity, care, and empathy for the world, promoting sustainable behaviors from an early age. The launch is scheduled for 2025, two weeks before COP30 in Brazil, emphasizing the importance of environmental education and global collaboration for the future of coming generations.
